Citing Mental Health, Corey Taylor Cancels His North American Tour.
When you think about it, it may have only been a matter of time before rock’s arguably busiest man had to slow down. That doesn’t mean recent news from Corey Taylor was any easier to grasp for fans.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the cancellation of my upcoming North American tour,” said the solo artist and Slipknot frontman. “For the past several months, my mental and physical health have been breaking down.” Taylor was scheduled to hit North America from February to March alongside supporting acts Des Rocs and Jigsaw Youth.
“I reached a place that was unhealthy for my family and I,” continued the rocker. The “CMF2” singer guaranteed fans would receive refunds and that he was “doing everything I could to be as healthy as I could be.”

“When we were in the studio with him this past year, he really kicked our as**es,” joked the strummer. “(He) got us focused and playing…Andrew was like, ‘You guys take forever to make records. Let’s do this right now.”
