Criminalz: Woman Was Caught Shoplifting During a "Shop with a Cop" Event

A Woman Was Caught Shoplifting . . . During a "Shop with a Cop" Event

Last December, a man in Florida was arrested after trying to shoplift from a Walmart WHILE the store was hosting a "Shop with a Cop" event, which included around 40 officers. And now, it's happened AGAIN.

This time, it was a 62-year-old woman in Michigan. She was caught trying to shoplift last Saturday while the store was hosting its "Shop with a Cop" event . . . where around 75 officers were shopping with young children.

A Walmart employee notified one of the cops that they saw a woman stealing more than $700 in merchandise. So, the trooper followed her to her vehicle, which was parked next to all the officers' patrol vehicles.

She was arrested and taken to jail.

A Lady Threw Food at a Chipotle Worker, so a Judge Is Making Her Get a Job in Fast Food

Does this count as being sentenced to "hard labor"?

Back in September, a 39-year-old woman near Cleveland named Rosemary Hayne got arrested for throwing a burrito bowl at a Chipotle worker.

She didn't think it was made well enough, or something . . . started yelling at the poor girl . . . threw it in her face . . . and got thrown in jail for assault. Footage of it went viral a few days later.

Now it's in the news again after she just got sentenced last week, and her judge decided to get creative with it.

His name is Timothy Gilligan. He gave her 180 days in jail but suspended 90 of those days. And he offered her a way to lop off another 60 if she wanted to.

She could avoid two months of jail time if she agreed to get a job WORKING AT A fast place to see what it's like.

She has to work there part-time, 20 hours a week, for at least two months. She agreed to it and said she'd start looking for job openings.

The employee she hit with the burrito bowl is Emily Russell. She said it was so traumatizing she left her job at Chipotle but has a new gig now. She told a reporter she was happy with the judge's sentence.
