An A.I. Songwriter named Anna Indiana Just Released "Her" First Single
How long will it take A.I. to completely replace us? Well, when it comes to writing and recording music, it's not quite there yet.
An A.I. songwriter named Anna Indiana released "her" first single last week. It's called "Betrayed by This Town", and everything about it is A.I. generated: the key, tempo, chord progression, melody notes, rhythm, and the lyrics.
Even Anna's image and voice were auto-generated. And it's not good.
She just released her second single, "The First Step," which may be a bit better.
It's hard to believe anyone could mistake these for actual songs created by human beings . . . but it's a little scary how close artificial intelligence is to getting there.
