 We don't toot our own horn a lot. Thankfully, a random sampling of 1,000 Americans just did it for us . . .

 

 

Someone asked people to name the best decade for radio. And it's basically a three-way tie between the 1970s, the 1980s, and RIGHT NOW.  (!!!)  The '70s and '80s tied for first, but the 2020s finished a single percentage point behind.

 

 

The poll also asked people to name the top decade for other things . . .

 

 

1. Best music? The 1980s got the most votes.

 

2. Best movies? Also, the '80s.

 

3. Best TV? The 2020s, followed by the 1990s.

 

4. Best books? 1940s or earlier.

 

5. Best fashion? 2020s, then the '90s. It's funny since '90s fashion is very in.

 

6. Best food? Right now, got three times more votes than any other decade.

 

 

They also asked which decade you'd most want to live in. The 2020s got the most votes, then the '80s, '70s, '90s, and '60s. Pre-1950 ranked last.
