Taco Bell has returned their ever-popular Nacho Fries with a new variation – Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries. The new fries were first tested in 2022 at a Taco Bell location in Sacramento, California, and were such a hit that they are now available nationwide for $4.99 while supplies last.
The Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries were inspired by the chain’s Grilled Cheese Burrito and feature grilled, marinated steak, chipotle sauce, and plenty of cheese with Taco Bell’s signature Nacho Cheese sauce along with a blend of mozzarella, Monterey pepper jack, and cheddar cheeses. The cheesy fries are also grilled before being served.
Even though the Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries are a limited-time menu item, Taco Bell is considering making them a permanent addition. Mark King, CEO of Taco Bell said, “People that go to lunch want to have french fries…We’re looking at and testing bringing fries permanently onto the menu”, so if you’re a Taco Bell fries fan, this may be good news for you.
