Jared Leto Climbed the Empire State Building to Promote His New Tour

If you have a tour coming up and you want to sell lots of tickets, there are a few different ways you can achieve that.

The best one is to HAVE SONGS THAT PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY PAY TO HEAR YOU SING.

Jared Leto chose an alternate route.  With 30 Seconds to Mars gearing up to hit the road next March, he decided to get some attention by CLIMBING THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING.

He went from the 86th floor to the 104th . . . or, from the observation deck to the base of the antenna at the very top.  That makes him officially the first person to climb the building legally.

After it was over, he told the "Today" show, quote, "I was more excited than nervous to tell you the truth.  But I have to be honest, it was very, very hard.  It was a lot harder than I thought it would be.

"Just the endurance that it took, the stamina that it took, and it was very sharp."

Jelly Roll Broke His CMA Trophy, but It Was Temporary Anyway

Here's some trivia that you may or may not know.  Those trophies they give out at the CMA Awards are temporary.  They're all generic because the winners aren't known ahead of time.  The real trophies are sent later.

This came up yesterday after word got out that Jelly Roll DROPPED his New Artist of the Year trophy backstage on Wednesday . . . and it broke into pieces.  He admitted it during an interview backstage.
