Happy National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day! A recent poll found it's not really THAT special for 6% of us, though. That's how many people claim they eat one every day.
A bunch of places have deals today, mostly for rewards members through their app. Here are a few of the best ones we've seen . . .
1. Popeyes: A free second chicken sandwich if you order a combo meal.
2. Burger King: A free Royal Crispy Chicken sandwich if you spend $5.
3. Wingstop: A buy-one-get-one deal if you use the code "BOGOSAMMY".
4. KFC: A free chicken sandwich if you spend $15 and order through DoorDash or Uber Eats. Or, 50% off chicken sandwiches if you use Grubhub.
If you do decide to chow down, here's a pro tip: Make sure your chicken sandwich is actually COOKED first.
Some woman is blowing up on TikTok after claiming she ordered a fried chicken sandwich at Checkers . . . ate half of it in her car in the dark . . . and then realized it was RAW.
Everyone online is telling her to sue. Last we heard, Checkers hadn't commented yet.
