Metallica's Robert Trujillo Steps In To Save Former Band:Ā 

It came down toĀ Robert TrujilloĀ to save the day when his former band found themselves short a bassist.Ā Suicidal Tendencies, who currently employ Trujillo’s sonĀ Tye, had a scheduling conflict and needed someone to step in. So, theĀ MetallicaĀ bassistĀ jumped back on-stageĀ with his band at a recent Mexico City show. This is the second time the elder Trujillo has jumped back in with his old band, following a performance alongside his son in Arizona last month.

Creed Unveils Plans For Reunion Tour and Festival Appearance.

They’ve announcedĀ a cruise ship festivalĀ and showed up at aĀ pro baseball game. But nowĀ CreedĀ has taken the final step in completing its comeback… by announcing a huge tour (and a festival stop).

The rockers’ plans for 2024 will kick off with appearances on the rock-focused cruises Summer Of ’99. Once that wraps, theĀ Scott Stapp-led group will kick off a tour of both the US and Canada from July through the end of September.

And they’re not coming alone:Ā 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Tonic, Switchfoot, Big Wreck,Ā andĀ Finger ElevenĀ are set to join at different spots along the way as support. Creed and a number of those acts will appear at the one-day Summer Of ’99 And Beyond festival on August 31st. Tickets will be released this Friday (Nov. 3rd),Ā

IS GREEN DAY TEASING A EUROPEAN RUN?

Even as they prepare to unveil their new album,Ā Green DayĀ seems to be ramping up to something even bigger.Ā Less than a week afterĀ they announced album #14 ā€œSaviors,ā€ the band seems to be teasing what might be a tour of Europe.

ā€œSurprise!ā€ Exclaimed the band on their X/Twitter handle. ā€œWe decided to hop on a plane and play a show in Paris.ā€ The surprise set will take place this Saturday (Nov. 4th) at Bataclan. But it’s what they wrote as a ā€œPSā€ to their tweet that has everyone talking.

ā€œWe’ll be seeing some more of you in other cities very soon,ā€ they added with a winky-emoji. This is the second ā€œsurpriseā€ show for Green Day this month, following a 29-song set at Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas. Where will they go next…?
