You can't assume someone wants you to hit on them just because they chose a sexy Halloween costume. But it turns out a lot of us do make that assumption . . .
39% of people in a new poll say if someone's in a revealing costume, it's a sign they're looking to HOOK UP. 61% disagree with that.
Some of us ARE hoping our costume attracts some attention, though. 19% of people wearing a "crazy" or provocative costume say they're mainly doing it to up their chances of meeting someone.
20% overall said they'd met someone at a Halloween party before. 80% agree the anonymous nature of costumes is kind of hot.
People were asked to name the hottest costumes for men and women . . .
For ladies, it's Catwoman, followed by Harley Quinn and a nurse. For guys, it's a three-way tie between a gladiator, a cop, and Batman.
