Martin Scorsese's 10 Best Movies, Including "Killers of the Flower Moon"

Martin Scorsese has directed 27 films, with his latest, "Killers of the Flower Moon," in theaters today.  So, "The Hollywood Reporter" decided to put together a list of his Top 10.  Here they are, ranked:

The new Martin Scorsese movie takes place in the 1920s, when a Native American tribe discovers oil and gets rich overnight.  But they're manipulated and murdered by the White Devils trying to seize control of their tribal land.

 

 

Robert De Niro is the bad guy and Leonardo DiCaprio is his nephew.  This is Scorsese's 10th time working with DeNiro and his sixth with DiCaprio.

 

 

De Niro convinces an unsuspecting Leo to marry into the tribe so he'll have a legal claim after the chaos starts.  Lily Gladstone plays Leo's Native American wife, and Jesse Plemons is an FBI agent investigating the murders.

 

 

The rest of the star-studded cast includes John LithgowBrendan Fraser, and country singers Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson.
