Let's talk about the pumpkins you DON'T carve. The ones you might use as decorative displays on the porch or yard. This video shows a safe way to keep them fresh for two months . . . without using bleach, which can harm wildlife.
Fill your sink with warm water and one cup of white vinegar. (Use a bathtub for larger pumpkins.) Make sure you soak all sides of the pumpkin for 10 minutes, and then let it air dry. You can go one step further by rubbing it with Vaseline.

Little Boy Calls Dad's Taxidermied Turkey a Fake
Everybody's a critic, especially this little boy named Bryar. He points the camera at a deer head mounted on the wall above the couch, and says, quote, "My dad thinks his big buck is so cool, but it's really not. Why does he think it's so cool?"
Then he pans over to what looks like a taxidermied turkey on a branch jutting out from the wall . . . and says, quote, "His big turkey. That thing is a fake."
