FLAG FOOTBALL is about to become an Olympic sport, for both men and women.
It'll make its debut at the 2028 games in Los Angeles, along with squash. Returning to the games in 2028 are cricket, lacrosse, baseball, and softball.
Cricket hasn't been played at the Olympics since 1900. Lacrosse has been played twice, but not since 1908.
Baseball was a medal sport from 1992 to 2008, and in 2020. Softball was one from 1996 to 2008, and in 2020.
The interesting thing about the addition of flag football is that we might see NFL players on the teams. Ditto for Major League stars in baseball.
Tragically, breakdancing will NOT return, after it makes its debut in Paris in 2024.
