Gymnastics Legend Mary Lou Retton Is Fighting for Her Life, and Needs Help

In 1984, Mary Lou Retton became the first female gymnast from the U.S. to win the all-around gold medal at the Olympics. And now, she needs our help.

Mary Lou's daughter says she's in the ICU, fighting for her life against a rare form of pneumonia. She's not even able to breathe on her own. And on top of it all, she's uninsured, so she needs money for her care.

Her daughter set up a SpotFund account to raise cash. It has already surpassed its $50,000 goal . . . but it sounds like she could need a lot more than that.

Mary Lou is 55 years old.
