PANTERA WITHDRAWS FROM FESTIVAL, REPLACED BY STP

Fans who’ve been planning their October trip to Sacramento for the Aftershock festival got some potentially sad news over the weekend.Ā Pantera, touted as one of the event’s top acts after their recent revival, has withdrawn from the 2023 fest.

ā€œDue to circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to perform at this year’s edition of Aftershock next month,ā€ the band wrote on social media. Calling the festival ā€œmonumental,ā€ Pantera admitted it ā€œpains us to have to miss it,ā€ but they did confirm they’re set for the 2024 edition.

Meanwhile, Aftershock wasted no time in announcing their replacement:Ā Stone Temple Pilots. Still set to take the stage are other A-list acts such asĀ Guns ’N Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, Tool, Korn,Ā and more.
