Uber has a new ad campaign that'll be fronted by a psychopathic vigilante. Well, a FAKE one, anyway.
Robert De Niro will star in the ads as his "Taxi Driver" character, Travis Bickle. You know, the guy who looks in the mirror and says, "You talkin' to me?"

The ads are being shot in London this week. It's not clear if they'll air in the U.S., but obviously, they'll be available to all online.
A source says, quote, "Signing up to commercials is selling out a bit, but obviously he's had a very expensive personal life."
Those expenses include $1 million a year in alimony to his ex-wife Grace Hightower . . . not to mention a new little mouth to feed.
