Food: Subway Is Now Selling Three-Inch Subs Thanks to Inflation

Subway Is Now Selling Three-Inch Subs Thanks to Inflation

Does this still count as a meal?  Or is it a snack?

Thanks to inflation, Subway is now selling THREE-INCH sandwiches.  But not in the U.S. . . . at least not yet.

They debuted at Subway locations in Pakistan recently.  Inflation is REALLY crazy there, almost 30%.  So, they wanted a cheaper option to get people in the door.

It's called "The Mini," but you can't get any sub as a three-incher.  For now, there's just one option:  A three-inch sub with a breaded chicken patty.  Then toppings like pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes.

Jersey Mike's already sells a "Mini" sub in the U.S.  But that one's five inches.  Three inches is like three or four bites.

It's not clear if Subway plans to start offering three-inch subs anywhere else.  The one in Pakistan only costs around $1.25.  But they'd probably up that a bit if they sold it here.
