Corey Taylor Is Not A Fan Of Super-Producer Rick Rubin:
Rick Rubin is one of those legendary figures in the music business who’s done it all. He’s produced with Metallica, Slayer, and System of a Down, among many others. So, it may surprise you that one (key) member of Slipknot isn’t a big fan of Rubin’s work. Speaking about the band’s experience recording “Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses), Corey Taylor said the producer kind of ruined it for him. “A lot of it stems from how I feel about Rick Rubin,” Taylor admitted, saying Greg Fidelman actually did the producing work on the album. “Rubin wasn’t there… And when he was, it’s like he couldn’t be bothered.”
