Haley Williams Slams "Internet Bros" Over Bemoaning Postponed Shows
Please don’t come for Hayley Williams; she’ll deliver a swift smackdown. The “Paramore” frontwoman gave it back to internet trolls over the weekend who criticized her for postponing multiple shows due to illness.
After giving it back to haters one by one, Williams shared on a recent Instagram Story that she’s used to “internet bros” being miffed at her “proximity to rock” since 2005, adding, “The only thing that changed is the platform from which they spew their ignorance. Don’t think for a second your fav bands – metal or punk or otherwise – endorse your weird, incel-ass lifestyle. So many of these bands have stood side-stage at our shows and treated us with respect. Why? bc they aren’t threatened by a strong woman front a great band in a complete diff genre of music.”
The anger comes after “Paramore” postponed multiple shows due to Williams battling a lung infection. Shows in Tulsa, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, and Salt Lake City have all been rescheduled.

"There were thrown plates, and I ran off. When I came back the next day, he'd written that song about me. It's incredibly flattering."
That may be partly true, but the song was also inspired by ANOTHER Mary . . . Jimi's Seattle girlfriend, Mary Washington.

A TikToker who calls herself "Fat Megan" posted a video where she said, quote, "I thought they wrote this song for the movie the same way they wrote 'I'm Just Ken' but [IT'S] A REAL SONG.
"[IT'S] A COVER?! It's a real song a person wrote and sang. I'm gooped."
Several people hit up the comments to express their SHOCK that she'd never heard the song. She added that she'd never even heard of the BAND.
She even told one person, quote, "I'm not even embarrassed. It's not a popular song."
