I began my vacation week by taking my wife's car to the dealership for maintenance. Afterwards, I walked to my usual Friday watering hole.
After enjoying a couple of cold brews, the wife and I decided to make a stop at Walmart to take advantage of a fantastic offer on a griddle grill.
I had a relaxing weekend, not doing much on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. However, I returned to the dealership on Tuesday to pick up my wife's vehicle.
I went back to my usual bar to try and forget about the money I had spent on the car.
I purchased some cigars for myself on the occasion of my birthday.
I took Wednesday and Thursday as a recovery day after all the birthday drinking. Nothing noteworthy happened.
On Friday, I had lunch with my wife at a hibachi restaurant.
I ate it all; that was how I spent my vacation week. Saturday and Sunday, I prepared mentally to start the workweek.
