MUSIC NEWS: Foo Fighters' Chris Shiflett Announces Solo Album.

Foo Fighters' Chris Shiflett Announces Solo Album.

Despite losing their drummer and friend Taylor Hawkins last year, Dave Grohl’s Foo Fighters continue to be one of rock’s hardest-working bands. But guitarist Chris Shiflett must not feel like he’s busy enough.

Following recent releases of singles “Dead And Gone” and “Black Top White Lines,” Shiflett has announced he’ll drop an entire solo album this fall. “Lost At Sea” will be the rocker’s newest country-meets-rock effort, dropping on October 20th.

"We wrote a lot of these songs during the lockdown," revealed Shiflett. " We made a guitar-centric record that encapsulates everything I've been listening to over the years, from the most country songs I've ever recorded to punk rock and even songs that sound like a California version of The Clash." Shiflett’s also released another single, “Damage Control.”

Dave Draiman Says It's Too Hard to Find Help for Mental Health in This Country

Dave Draiman from Disturbed says it's too hard to find help for mental health issues in this country, and he should know.  A few months ago, his dog died while he was going through a divorce, and he needed to talk to someone.

He says, quote, "I reached out, and I tried to get help, and it was un-[effing]-believably frustrating.  Everybody is unavailable.  Nobody's taking new patients.  They want you to do this evaluation, that evaluation.

"Do you have the money for it?  Can you qualify for it?  Is it within your insurance plan?  [Eff] you!  Enough, I'm telling you."

He adds, quote, "It shouldn't be that hard . . . It shouldn't be as much of a business as it is."
