I would put "music festival" just barely above "dumpster" on my list of the worst places to have sex. But a surprising number of people claim they've gone groin-to-groin at a festival.
According to a poll by the sex toy company Love Honey, 39% of adults have done it . . . 47% of guys and 30% of women.
More than half of these horndogs . . . 55% . . . are between the ages of 18 and 34. But 13% of people over the age of 55 claim they've done it.
What's so attractive about getting nasty at a music festival? Love Honey says, quote, "Festivals are like a big playground for adults.
"They're all about having fun and giving people a chance to escape the stress, duties, and rules of everyday life. Festivals promise freedom and are spaces to let us explore new things and perhaps be a bit more daring.
"Whether it be with your partner or someone you've just met, having sex contributes to this spirit of excitement and adventure."
