Greta Van Fleet's Josh Kiszka Reveals He's Been in A Same-Sex Relationship For Eight Years
What is Pride Month if not a chance to be a true version of yourself? One member of Greta Van Fleet has taken the opportunity to publicly come out of the closet. Singer Josh Kiszka recently took to Instagram to reveal that he has been “in a loving, same-sex relationship with my partner for the past eight years.”
The frontman admitted he felt it was time to push back against growing legislation targeting the LGBTQ+ community. Kiszka lives in Tennessee, one state that has recently introduced such legislation. "Where I've settled a home in Tennessee, legislators are proposing bills that threaten the freedom of love," wrote the rocker. "It's imperative that I speak my truth for not only myself, but in hopes to change hearts, minds, and laws in Tennessee and beyond.”
In response to Kiszka’s revelation, one iconic member of the rock community wanted the singer to know he had his back. “I love you Josh,” tweeted Judas Priest legend Rob Halford, along with a series of rock-centric emojis. Halford came out on MTV in 1998.
