There were torrential rains in Pensacola, Florida, last Friday, and Deputy William Hollingsworth nearly lost his life because of it.  He left his patrol car to help someone trapped in rising waters, and they both got sucked into a drainage pipe.

 

 

They were swept underneath Highway 98 and traveled underwater for about 100 feet before coming out the other side of the road . . . some 30 seconds later.  Officer Hollingsworth's bodycam filmed the whole thing.

A mom in Texas planned a birthday party at a burger joint for her five-year-old daughter, Willa . . . and no one showed up for it.  All her friends' parents bailed at the last minute.  But social media saved the day.

A seven-year-old boy in Freeman, Virginia, named Ta'Vion (Tay-vion) Robinson wants to be a police officer when he grows up.  So, his mom contacted the local department trying to set up a tour.  The officers did one better. 

 

 

They picked him up at his house and gave him a ride in their patrol car.  They even took him to lunch at McDonald's.
