Pete Davidson Went Off on PETA After They Criticized Him for Buying a Dog

PETA criticized Pete Davidson for buying a dog from a pet store instead of adopting it. Well, Pete's not having it.  He called PETA and left a really nasty voicemail.

He explained that he's "severely allergic" to dogs, so he had to buy a specific breed . . . in this case, a "cavapoo", which is nearly hypoallergenic because it doesn't shed.

He also said he was buying the dog for his MOTHER because hers had just passed away at only two years old.

Then he told PETA, quote, "Why don't you do your research before you [effing] create news stories for people."

And he added, quote, "[Eff] you," and invited them to perform a certain act on a certain part of his body.

PETA responded that there really isn't any such thing as a hypoallergenic dog.  They also say that Pete COULD have found that breed at an adoption site like Petfinder.com.

Pete walked back SOME of his comments, saying, quote, "It was a poor choice of words.  I shouldn't have said what I said, but I am not sorry for standing up for myself and my family."

He also accused PETA of, quote, "[making] a public example of us, making our grieving situation worse."

He also called out the pet store for filming him without his permission.
