A Sonic Employee Was Arrested After "Inadvertently" Placing Cocaine on a Coney
If you're at a Sonic Drive-In, and you want a hot dog and coke, you're probably expecting Coca-Cola . . . not COCAINE.
An unnamed female customer ordered a coney dog to a Sonic Drive-In in New Mexico last Tuesday. And when she bit into it, she found a plastic bag filled with some powder.
It turned out it was a baggie of cocaine. Fortunately, she didn't ingest any of it.
She called the cops, and they arrested a 54-year-old man who worked at Sonic. He "inadvertently" placed the baggie in her order while preparing it.
In the surveillance footage, he gets stressed . . . and looks like he'd lost something. He reportedly admitted to buying the cocaine earlier in the parking lot. The man was charged with felony possession.
