Here's How Ro Score Free Chipotle Burritos During The NBA Finals.

The NBA Finals between The Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat begin tonight, June 1st, and Chipotle is offering fans a chance to score free burritos as part of their “free-pointer” promotion. Each time a three-point shot is made during the series, Chipotle will give out 300 free meals through a text-to-win code from @CHIPOTLETWEETS, the chain’s Twitter handle. The first 300 viewers to text the tweeted code to 888222 get a free Chipotle entrée. Chipotle says up to 10,500 people can grab a free meal in every game.

Chipotle has given away free food in the past during NBA Finals games. In 2019, they had a text-to-win code if announcers said “free” during the broadcast, and in 2021 and 2022, there were codes for free food in hidden ads during the finals. The company is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by the NBA, but over 12 million viewers tune in every year, so it’s a great way to promote the brand. If you’re a winner in the “free-pointer” campaign this year, you can get your free meal at your nearest Chipotle before June 30th.

7 Store-Bought Chicken Nuggets That Use 100% White Meat.

Chicken nuggets are a very popular menu item for kids and adults alike because they are easy to prepare, tasty, and a good source of protein, but not all chicken nuggets are equal. Some are made with 100% white meat, but others contain dark meat, rib meat, or possibly some “unknown” meat.

CEO of The Virtual Nutrition Experts Lisa Moskovitz, RD says that “Since chicken nuggets naturally contain added oils that ups the fat content, I recommend choosing all white meat chicken nuggets.” Most nutritionists also recommend nuggets that are not deep-fried and can bake when re-heating. The EatThis, NotThat! group has chosen seven store-bought chicken nuggets that use 100% white meat. Here’s the list.

  1. Just Bare Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks – these nuggets come fully cooked and are made with breast meat only. They have no antibiotics, steroids or hormones and no artificial ingredients or preservatives. Each 3OZ serving contains 160 calories, 6 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 540 mg sodium, 9 g carbs, 2 g sugar (1 g added sugar), and 16 g protein.
  2. Perdue Simply Smart Organic Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets – these 100% white meat nuggets have no GMO ingredients, and one reviewer said these boneless, skinless breast nuggets coated in crisp, gluten-free breading “Are a huge hit in our house!” Each 3-piece serving contains 170 calories, 9 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 380 mg sodium, 13 g carbs, 1 g sugar, and 10 g protein.
  3. Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets – made from humanely raised chickens with no antibiotics and are white meat only. One reviewer said, “These nuggets were extremely flavorful and not overly breaded with a nice balance of spices and breading and crisped up nicely in the oven.” Moskovitz says these are slightly superior in taste and nutrition compared to other options. Each 6-piece serving contains 160 calories, 9 g fat ( 1.5 g saturated fat), 350 mg sodium, 14 g carbs, 1 g sugar, and 12 g protein.
  4. Banquet Chicken Breast Nuggets – made with no artificial flavors, coloring or preservatives and 100% natural white meat chicken. A reviewer said, “WOW! They are delicious, with no gross stuff in them. When you bite into them, all you see is white breast meat, not some compressed mystery chicken. Each 5-piece serving has 220 calories, 12.5 g fat ( 2.5 g saturated fat), 490 mg sodium, 16 g carbs, 0 g sugar, and 12 g protein.

They are uncooked and are the best-selling product from Bell & Evans. Each 4 OZ serving contains 200 calories, 9 g fat (1.5 g saturated fat), 360 mg sodium, 10 g carbs, 2 g sugar, and 21 g protein.
