Criminals: A Guy Sprinkled Meth on His Girlfriend's Salad

A Guy Sprinkled Meth on His Girlfriend's Salad

Here's a really efficient way to get dumped AND go to jail at the same time:  53-year-old Gomer Sanderson lives in Newport, Tennessee near Knoxville.  And last Sunday, he bought a healthy salad to split with his girlfriend.

But while he was splitting it up onto two plates, she went to the bathroom.  And he added an extra ingredient that made their salad WAY less healthy.

She started eating and noticed it tasted oddly salty and bitter.  But she kept eating anyway.  Then after they were done, he suddenly started apologizing and saying, "I did it.  I put it in your salad."  But he wouldn't say what.

She ended up taking herself to the E.R.  And it's a good thing she did, because it wasn't Bacon Bits.  He eventually admitted he sprinkled a bunch of METH on her salad.  (???)

She doesn't do drugs, but he'd done meth the night before.  So it sounds like he enjoyed the experience and thought she would too.  Thankfully, she's okay.

Cops showed up and arrested Gomer.  He's facing charges of domestic assault and reckless endangerment.

 (Here's his mugshot.)

Police Are Looking for a Toilet Go-Kart Thief

Police in Washington state are looking for leads in a felony TOILET theft.  But the thief didn't just run into someone's bathroom and jack their crapper.

It's a GO-KART . . . with a real toilet as a seat . . . that a local plumber would ride as a parade float to promote his business.

He said it was worth $2,000.  He paid $300 for the go-kart on Craigslist . . . then shelled out over $1,100 to have the rig custom-fabricated to add a $400 toilet as a seat to sit on.  But it's also a one-of-a-kind vehicle.

It was stolen last Saturday night from the guy's business.  He has surveillance footage showing a man decked out in camouflage taking it.

Sadly, the go-kart didn't make it in one piece.  Shattered porcelain was found across the street . . . so the plumber suspects that someone may have tried to lift it into a vehicle, and it snapped and broke.

As far as we know, the police don't have any suspects yet.
