Lars Ulrich Remembers Not Being Allowed to Look Mick Jagger in the Eye

It's hard to believe there was a time when Metallica was "the little guy," . . . but Lars Ulrich remembers when they opened for the Rolling Stones . . . and they were definitely on the wrong side of the power imbalance.

One day an assistant for the Stones told Lars and his bandmates that Mick Jagger would be walking through the backstage area, and they were not allowed to make eye contact or speak to him.

They WERE allowed to get their picture taken with the Stones.  But Lars says, quote, "I don't think they fully stopped.  They were sort of caught mid-walk or they slowed down long enough [for the picture]."

Lars isn't really dragging them, but he says, quote, "We are always very careful. I always go and say hello to our support acts, I look them in the eye.  I ask them if there's anything they need.  Do you know what it is?.. It's a human thing."

Jack Black Hits Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart With "Peaches"

Jack Black Hits Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart With "Peaches": A-list actor Jack Black is no stranger to making it onto the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, but he’s doing it solo this time.

Black’s song “Peaches” debuted at #83, with 5.8 million streams in the US alone during the song’s first week. Black previously appeared on the chart with his rock duo, Tenacious D, alongside bandmate Kyle Gass. Their song “The Pick Of Destiny”- from the 2006 movie with the same name- reached a high of #78. Tenacious D’s albums have also charted, with “The Pick Of Destiny” and “Rize Of The Fenix” (2012) topping Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums Charts.

Paul McCartney Has His First Hit Song . . . On Two of Billboard's Dance Charts

Paul McCartney has a new hit . . . on the Billboard DANCE charts. Although technically, it's not really "new."  At least not his part.

A producer named Kygo remade the 1983 jam "Say Say Say" using original lyrics from Paul and Michael Jackson.  And it just debuted on TWO Billboard charts:  Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales.

It's Paul's first time on either chart . . . but he's had dance hits in the past.  One of them was the ORIGINAL "Say Say Say," which made the Dance Club Songs chart in the '80s.

He also made the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart in 2015, thanks to "FourFiveSeconds" with Kanye West and Rihanna.
