Music: Wolfgang VH Changes His Twitter Handle to "Wolfgang Led Zeppelin"

Why Did Wolfgang Van Halen Change His Twitter Handle to "Wolfgang Led Zeppelin"?

Wolfgang Van Halen was born . . . Wolfgang Van Halen.  It's his real name.  It's on his birth certificate.  Meaning he has every right to use it.

But idiots still accuse him of trading on it to benefit his career.  And every once in a while, he feels the need to respond.

Earlier this week, he told one of these trolls, quote, "Van Halen is literally my [effing] name you grape.

"You guys understand Van Halen is literally a name.  Like way before, it was a band.  Right?

"That good ol American rock and roll you love so much was written by a Dutch immigrant named Edward Lodewik Van Halen, not some dude changing his name to sound cool and 'rock n roll' and [stuff]?"

Then he put up a poll asking his followers to choose his new name.  The choices were Wolfgang Led Zeppelin . . . Wolfgang AC/DC . . . Wolfgang The Who . . . and Wolfgang Paul McCartney.

Wolfgang Led Zeppelin won by a landslide . . . so he actually made it his Twitter handle.

Elton John Just Learned the Inspiration Behind "Rocket Man"

Elton John has performed "Rocket Man" countless times, but it wasn't until recently that he learned the inspiration behind it.

In a recent interview, his longtime collaborator Bernie Taupin revealed that the lyrics were inspired by Ray Bradbury's collection of sci-fi stories, "The Illustrated Man"

He said, quote, "In that book, there was a story called 'The Rocket Man,' which was about how astronauts in the future would become sort of an everyday job . . . so I kinda took that idea and ran with it."
