AMC Will Start Charging Different Ticket Prices Based on Seat Locations.

AMC is adding an EXCITING new feature to the moviegoing experience: You will now get to choose between: Paying even MORE . . . or having a worse seat.

AMC is rolling out a new pricing system called "Sightline," where tickets will be priced differently based on where you're sitting. It's like how concerts work . . . or sporting events, plays, and even airlines. So it was probably inevitable.

Not all the prices are changing. "Standard Sightline" seats will be the most common and will be available for the usual (high) ticket cost.

But "Value Sightline" tickets will cost "slightly less." That's for the less popular seats . . . like the front row. And "Preferred Sightline" seats will cost you "slightly more" . . . those are the prime seats in the middle of the theater.

This new pricing will start this weekend in some cities, like New York, Chicago, and Kansas City. But it'll be at ALL their locations by the end of the year.
