Foo Fighters Will Continue as "a Different Band" without Taylor Hawkins

Foo Fighters will continue to make music after the passing of their drummer Taylor Hawkins.  But that they'll be a, quote, "different band going forward."

In a statement, they said, quote, "As we say goodbye to the most difficult and tragic year that our band has ever known, we are reminded of how thankful we are for the people that we love and cherish most . . .

"And for the loved ones who are no longer with us. Without Taylor, we never would have become the band that we were . . . we know that when we see you again, and we will soon, he'll be there in spirit with all of us every night."

Good news has arrived for Slipknot fans. Shawn “Clown” Crahan has revealed the band’s long-anticipated album “Look Outside Your Window” will finally be released this spring. “The good news is that we're off the label six months from now, April Fool’s Day 2023,” says Clown. “(And) I imagine it’ll probably come very soon afterward.”

The "lost" album will include music initially started in 2008 and said by Corey Taylor to have a “Radiohead vibe.” Clown also didn’t hesitate to hype “Look Outside Your Window,” saying it is “one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life.” The frontman also admitted that this was the first time the band felt it could release this album without being overlooked among its other releases.

Slipknot has a busy touring schedule ahead of them this year, including their Knotfest series in Australia, Japan, and- for the first time- Italy.
