Mick Fleetwood's Wooden Balls from the "Rumours" Album Cover Sold for $128,000 

One of the truly iconic pieces of classic rock memorabilia hit the auction block recently. Somebody purchased Mick Fleetwood's WOODEN BALLS from the cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album for $128,000.



Items belonging to Fleetwood and his bandmates John McVie and the late Christine McVie were sold off over the weekend.



Christine's swag included dresses, a Hammond B3 organ, an electric baby grand piano, a speaker, and microphones. It brought in nearly $200,000 in all. Not to be morbid, but her death may have helped drive up the prices.

Evanescence Cancels Show Due To Illness

Evanescence announced they were canceling their show yesterday due to an illness with the group. Singer Amy Lee took to social media to reveal: “There has been a relentless sickness going around our camp, and it has, despite every effort, taken hold of my voice.” Lee admitted that her doctor had ordered her to rest in order to prevent long-term damage to her voice. But she has assured fans that she is “doing everything I can to heal so we can finish this tour.”

Evanescence has been touring with Within Temptation on the “Worlds Collide” tour. The show, which has been rescheduled three times since 2020, finally launched in November in Munich.

5.  Axl Rose: He was a manager at Tower Records in L.A.

6.  Debbie Harry: She was a Playboy Bunny at the New York City club from 1968 to 1973.



7.  Jack White: He did upholstery and furniture repair.



8.  Mick Jagger: He was a hospital porter in a psychiatric facility.



9.  Rob Zombie: He was a production assistant on the set of "Pee-Wee's Playhouse".
