Food: Wendy's Is Finally Selling Its Strawberry Frosty in the U.S.

Wendy's Is Finally Selling Its Strawberry Frosty in the U.S. . . . But Now You Can't Get Vanilla

If you're a fan of Wendy's Frosty, prepare to be excited and/or devastated. Because they just added a highly anticipated new flavor . . . but at the expense of another one.

STRAWBERRY Frostys are now available nationwide for a limited time. They debuted in Canada last year, but it's the first time they've sold them in the U.S.

Now the bad news: To make room, they've stopped selling VANILLA Frostys for now. They added vanilla shakes in 2006, and they're pretty popular. They say they'll definitely be back once the strawberry promo is over. But it's not clear how long it'll be.  (Here's a photo of the new Strawberry Frosty.)

Burger King's "Pride Whopper" in Austria Is Getting Backlash

There's a fine line between supporting a cause and capitalizing on it. Some people think this crossed it, or it's at least in bad taste . . .

For Gay Pride Month, Burger King debuted a new "Pride Whopper" in Austria that's just like a normal Whopper . . . except it comes with two "equal" buns. Meaning you can get it with two top buns, or two bottoms.  (Careful! So it's almost like they want people to jokingly ask, "Are you a top or a bottom?")

They say it's supposed to be a fun way to promote "equal love and equal rights," but there's been backlash online. As far as we can tell, they haven't pulled the promo yet. They're offering it at Burger Kings in Austria through June 20th.  (Here's a photo.)
