A Former Ice Skating Champ Shares Stories of Her Life Behind Bars
Keri Blakinger is a former competitive ice skater who ended up in prison after a drug conviction. She tells her story in a book called "Corrections in Ink". She's also a TikTok'er who answers questions about "what life is like behind bars."
For example, contrary to movie tropes, the prisoners DID know each other's crimes. There IS a real reason chocolates weren't allowed. And she wrote down addresses and notes in a bible because she was only allowed to have religious books.
