It doesn't get much dumber than doing something wildly illegal on live television . . .
A reporter for Fox 32 in Chicago was in the middle of a report Wednesday morning when some idiot ran behind her in the background . . . and pointed a gun directly at the camera crew.
It was only for a second, but they got it on video. The report happened to be on gun violence in the city, which made it even weirder.
He looked straight at the camera, and there are several clear shots of his face.
Last we heard, police were still trying to identify him. But it sounds like it's just a matter of time.
Once they catch him, he'll face charges of aggravated assault with a firearm.
