There's a new selfie pose that's going viral, and some people think it could be the next "duck face" . . . the overused social media look where people try to look sexy by sucking in their cheeks and plumping out their lips.
This new one is being called the "dissociative pout" . . . and its "signature" is an apathetic or bored look, where your eyes are glazed over, looking disinterested, with relaxed "pouty" lips. (There are examples here and here.)
A few people describe the look as "lobotomy chic." (So at the very least, a brainless look could pair well with a brainless comment on social media.)
