Criminals: A Man Who Was Arrested Three Times for DUI Drove to Court Drunk

A Man Who Was Arrested Three Times for DUI Drove to Court . . . Drunk

There are "high-functioning alcoholics," who appear to be fine . . . there are "LOW-functioning alcoholics," who appear to be a total mess . . . and then there's this guy, who's . . . an interesting case.

A 58-year-old man in Pennsylvania named Lawrence Williams was going to court last Thursday for an arraignment on DUI charges.

The hearing was for a DUI case last month where he crashed into a fence, while allegedly driving drunk. At the time, he was already on probation for two other DUI cases from earlier this year.

So maybe it wasn't shocking that when Lawrence drove to court at 11:00 A.M., he had been DRINKING. As soon as he entered the courtroom, officers said they could smell alcohol. He also had "extremely red, bloodshot eyes."

Lawrence admitted he'd driven himself to court with a rental vehicle. His blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit, and he was sent to jail.
