Criminals: A Woman Brought Her Kids Along to Help Vandalize a Business

A Woman Brought Her Kids Along to Help Vandalize a Business

It's Take Your Child to Work Day, which is a great thing to do unless you're a CRIMINAL: A 30-year-old woman in Lincoln, Nebraska is facing charges after she vandalized a business Tuesday night, and brought her two young KIDS along to help.

Her name is Emily Anderson. We don't know what her beef is, but she got into a brick-and-tile store through an unlocked door and trashed the place.

She knocked over shelves, flipped equipment, tossed tool boxes around, and ripped open bags. One of her kids was inside with her, and the other one stayed in the car.  (Maybe they were the lookout?)

At one point, she found some spray paint . . . and wrote her own LAST NAME on the outside of the building, along with the word "MINE."  (???)

That made it pretty easy for police to figure out who did it, but she wasn't done yet.

She drove to another building on the same property . . . went inside with her kid again . . . and had them HELP. They threw chairs, rocks, trash, and other stuff.

When cops got there, they found both kids outside, and Emily in the doorway with no shoes on.  (???) She's facing charges for criminal mischief, child abuse, and theft, because she also broke into someone's car nearby.

 (Here's her mugshot.)

An Evil Twin Used a Good Twin's ID to Steal $72,000 in Military Benefits

Everyone likes a good, fun TWIN HIJINKS story. Unfortunately, it seems like "good twin / evil twin" stories are much more common.

A 64-year-old man in Florida named Wayne Bowen was sentenced to two years yesterday, after he was caught using his TWIN brother's identity to steal $72,000 in military benefits over the past eight years.

Wayne was finally caught earlier this year . . . and he initially claimed that both he and his brother served in the U.S. Army together. But he later he admitted that only his brother served.

And it was an evil plot: In order to snake the benefits, he used his brother's information to get a Florida ID under his name, and then used that with his military discharge papers "to apply for federally subsidized housing benefits."

Wayne's brother . . . the GOOD twin . . . lives in another state, and he told the authorities that he didn't give Wayne permission to use his name. In addition to serving time, the EVIL twin will need to pay $63,773 in restitution.
