A prequel series about the foul-mouth teddy bear and his BFF John Bennett from "Ted" is coming to Peacock thanks to SETH MACFARLANE. And it'll also be called "Ted".
Seth will return to voice Ted, of course. He's also going to be the writer, director, and co-showrunner. There will be 10 episodes.
The series will take place in 1993 when MARK WAHLBERG's character John is 16 years old. Ted's moment of fame has passed, and he's living with John and his family in Boston.
Just like in the movies, Ted isn't always the best influence, so we'll have to see what troubles they get into. (The movie takes place in 2012.)
John will be played by MAX BURKHOLDER from "Parenthood". No release date has been announced.
