Maisie Williams Gets Naked in Sex Pistols Miniseries . . . But It's a Political Statement

MAISIE WILLIAMS gets naked on her new show, but she does it for POLITICAL REASONS.

The show is "Pistol", an FX miniseries about the SEX PISTOLS. Maisie plays Pamela Rooke, also known as Jordan. She was a model and actress who helped create the London punk look.

Maisie was hesitant to do the topless scenes, but she figured out why they were necessary. Quote, "Jordan was a political statement. Her entire ethos was turning the male gaze in on itself, and it was overtly sexual in a way that made other people feel ashamed . . .

"If I take my top off, I want to make other people feel uncomfortable."

"Pistol" premieres on May 31st.

Billie Joe Armstrong, Slash, and Other Rock Stars Are Mourning the Breakup of a Band That Might Not Even Exist

Yesterday, the rock world was mourning the breakup of influential '70s punk band MAX CREEPS.

Slash, Duff McKagan, Billie Joe Armstrong, Henry Rollins, Marky Ramone, and Sum 41 were among the stars paying tribute to Max Creeps, and reminiscing about what the band meant to them.

If you've never heard of Max Creeps, you're not alone. There doesn't seem to be any evidence that they ever existed. There's a Facebook page, but it looks like somebody just set it up within the last year.

There's also a listing for an album on Amazon, but it's supposedly available only on vinyl or CASSETTE.

There's even a Reddit thread of people trying to figure out the identity of Max Creeps . . . if they exist at all. Some people think it might be a side project . . . possibly of Billie Joe or one of the other guys who posted a tribute to them.

It would be cool if it IS someone's secret band, and they got all these other guys to help them pull it off.
