Chipotle Adds Menu Item And Gives Away Free Food
You might remember last Halloween that Chipotle partnered with Roblox in the metaverse with the Chipotle Boorito Maze. Things apparently went so well that they’re back at it with the Chipotle Burrito Builder on Roblox. It’s a simulation experience where players to roll their own burritos in the metaverse.
But it’s not about playtime. Fans can actually earn Burrito Bucks, the in-experience currency on Roblox1 starting today – which in case you missed it – is National Burrito Day – and actually get some free food.
Basically, if you’re one of the first 100,000 Chipotle/Roblox players to roll a burrito successfully you can earn enough Burrito Bucks for an entrée’ code that can be used on the Chipotle app, Chipotle.com or Chipotle.ca.
- Meanwhile… there’s a new menu item inspired by Roblox: the Chipotle Burrito Builder Burrito. It’s got black beans, white rice, chicken, tomato salsa, tomatillo red chili salsa, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and guacamole. It’s the first real-world menu item created by the metaverse community and is Chipotle’s first pre-configured digital entrée. Want one? It’s only available to Chipotle Rewards members and is available for a limited time.
