Jared Leto Says 30 Seconds To Mars Music Coming Soon
Jared Leto is teasing 30 Seconds to Mars fans, saying that there will be new music coming from them "really momentarily." Jared has been busy with his acting career, but during the pandemic when the world shut down, he and big bro Shannon Leto were finally able to be in the same place for a while. This inspired him to write "about 200 songs."
Jared shared, "As challenging as that time was for so many people around the world and devastating for so many, there was also a flip side to it. And for both my brother and I, I think it was like the universe doing for us what we can't do for ourselves sort of thing, where really, it was the first time we were in one place for that long since we were little kids."
He continued, "And even as little kids, we moved around as, you know. We had the kind of vagabond hippie life. And it was a blessing. And I sat and I started writing. It took me a month or two to get into the swing of things. But I wrote about 200 songs. And we have maybe two albums, maybe three, worth of material. And we're going to start putting it out momentarily. I mean, really momentarily. So really excited."

Sum 41 Announces Double Album
Sum 41 is giving us a first look at their upcoming double album "Heaven and H*ll." Deryck Whibley is sharing that "Heaven" pays homage to the band's pop-punk roots, whereas "H*ll" is all metal. He shared, "As I listened to almost all of [the newly written songs], it just kind of dawned on me. Did I just make a double record on accident?"
Deryck also shared where the inspiration for "H*ll" came from. "Some of the metal stuff comes with a lot of anger for people who have stolen from me and hurt me in the past." He spoke about "Heaven" too, saying, "It all made sense to me why pop-punk is coming back: it's feel-good music. There's something that’s happy about it. Something young and innocent and free."
