Criminals: Guy Tried to Steal a Navy SEAL Vest Used in Osama bin Laden Raid

A Guy Tried to Steal a Navy SEAL Vest Used in the Osama bin Laden Raid

Here's a group of people you don't want to piss off . . .

A contractor in Florida was doing work at a military museum this week . . . and got caught trying to steal a ballistic vest worn by a NAVY SEAL during the Osama bin Laden raid.  (We're not sure if this is the exact vest, but it's one of them.)

It happened at the Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce on Monday. His name is Kendall Rust, and he's 30 years old.

A museum employee noticed him acting weird. Then after he left, they realized the vest was missing.

Another employee confronted him, and he admitted he took it. He claimed he just wanted to take a picture with the vest, which they found crammed inside his toolbox.

A member of SEAL Team Six was wearing the vest when they raided Bin Laden's compound in 2011 and took him out. Because of that, the museum says it's worth about $50,000.

He's facing charges for felony larceny.

(Here's his mugshot.)

A Father and Son Got Caught with Meth in Their McDonald's Soda

There are lots of ways to bond with your son. But doing hard DRUGS together probably isn't the best call . . .

A 54-year-old guy in northern Michigan named Victor McMillan got pulled over on the highway last week. And his 30-year-old son Joshua was with him.  (It happened in Bagley, about 60 miles east of Traverse City.)

While the cop was talking to them, he noticed a large McDonald's cup in their car that was filled with soda. And something weird was floating on top of it, but it wasn't ice.

Or, if you know drug slang, it WAS "ice" . . . the CRYSTAL METH kind.

They apparently panicked when they got pulled over, and dumped their bag of meth in the soda. But they either didn't realize it would float, or thought it would dissolve.

The cop found the empty bag on the floor of their car. And the stuff in their soda tested positive for methamphetamine.

They both got arrested for drugs, and they're due back in court tomorrow.
