Criminals: A Man Tried to Carjack Officers in a Fully Marked Police Car

A Man Tried to Carjack Officers in a Fully Marked Police Car

If you talked to an experienced carjacker, they could probably provide you with some tips on the types of vehicles you DON'T want to carjack. But this one should be obvious.

A 27-year-old man in St. Louis tried to carjack two police officers early Saturday morning . . . while they were in a FULLY MARKED POLICE CAR.  (???)

He stepped into traffic . . . walked to the passenger side of the police car . . . and pointed a handgun at them.

Fortunately, the officers say they were able to "maneuver" out of the way. That's when the carjacker realized it was a police car . . . and he BOLTED. The officers chased him, caught him, and arrested him.

No one was injured.

Woman Loses $3,500 To Zelle Scammer: A woman is known only as Denise got a text message in January that looked like it was from her bank, Wells Fargo.

It read: “Zelle transaction attempted $3500,” and she was asked to respond yes or no to verify the transaction. She replied no and immediately got a call telling her someone was trying to steal $3500 from her and told her to log into Zelle and transfer the money back to her account to “reverse the transaction.” The problem is that the man was a scammer, and when Denise transferred the money, he took it. Luckily, Denise got her money back, but authorities say that’s not always the case, and they’re currently working on a case where someone lost $600k.

Someone Stole All the Appliances from Their Airbnb

You're allowed to take the little soaps they stock in your hotel bathroom. But you're not allowed to do this . . .

A group of people recently stayed at an Airbnb in Tulsa, Oklahoma . . . and stole EVERYTHING, including the appliances.

The booking was made for one person and their pet. But security cameras showed five or six people ransacking the place.

They stole a bunch of small stuff, like the hairdryer and vacuum. And they also ripped all of the TVs out of the wall, along with the washer and dryer.

They ended up leaving the washer in the middle of the living room. So they either ran out of time, or ran out of space to pack it all.

Here's the dumb part though: One of them used their ACTUAL I.D. when they booked the place. So cops know who they are.

Last we heard, they were just waiting on warrants to arrest everyone.
