Food: The World's First Virtual Beer Is . . . Heineken Silver

The World's First Virtual Beer Is . . . Heineken Silver

The world's first VIRTUAL beer is now available in the metaverse.  (But before you get TOO excited . . . it's a Heineken product.)

It's Heineken's new virtual "Heineken Silver" . . . and in a video hyping it, the company joked, "Introducing the new virtual Heineken Silver. With no calories . . . no hidden ingredients . . . and no beer. Try to try it now."  (???)

It's "available" to visitors at their virtual brewery in Decentraland.  (If you have ANY idea what any of this means, I'll buy you a Heineken Silver. Heineken says it's an "ironic joke" . . . but if you are curious, here's an underwhelmed report from someone who tried to navigate it.)

Icee Has Turned Its Frozen Beverages Into . . . Cookies

If you like the taste of a CLASSIC Icee drink on a hot day, but you don't want the brain freeze, THIS will solve that part . . . even if it's less refreshing.

The Icee Company turned two of its classic flavors into . . . COOKIES. They're sandwich crème-filled cookies . . . so two vanilla wafers, with the crème in the middle either being CHERRY or BLUE RASPBERRY.

And the best part is, you don't have to wait until summer. They're available exclusively at Kroger stores nationwide now. And the retail price is $3.29.
