BK’s New Whopper Melts Line Is Officially Here
Burger King has announced a new line of Whopper Melt sandwiches that’ll be available starting Thursday. There are three different varieties of the new melts that are kind of a cross between a grilled cheese sandwich and a burger. They include:
- The Whopper Melt – A couple of Whopper Jr. patties with melted American cheese, caramelized onions and Stacker Sauce…all nestled in between two slices of toasted bread.
- The Bacon Whopper Melt – Same thing as the Whopper Melt…just add bacon!
- The Spicy Whopper Melt – This one has two Whopper Jr. patties, jalapenos, American cheese, caramelized onions and creamy spicy sauce…also between two slices of toasted bread.
Royal Perks members get exclusive access to limited-time Whopper Melt Meal combos that start at $6 if you order on bk.com or the BK app.

Happy National Meatball Day!
The Most Popular Dessert in Every State… Texas LOVES Pecan Pie!
For whatever reason, the insurance company Coventry Direct recently set out to determine the most popular DESSERT in every state, and they did it by analyzing Google search data.
In the end, ice cream was #1 in FIVE states, which was more than any other dessert. Those five are California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C., which isn't actually a state, of course.
Jell-O, of all things, was #1 in four states: Idaho, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.
Texas sheet cake was also #1 in four states . . . but not Texas: Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, and Ohio. Instead, Texas loves pecan pie . . . along with Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Three other desserts had three states each: Brownies . . . carrot cake . . . and funnel cake.
Baked Alaska was #1 in just one state: Alaska.
