Zillow Porn: Mega-Mansion in L.A. Sold for Half Price at $126 Million

“ Zillow Porn” Mega-Mansion in L.A. Sold for $126 Million . . . Half the Asking Price!

Real estate prices are insane right now, and it doesn't get any more insane than this: A mega-mansion in L.A. nicknamed "The One" just sold at auction over the weekend for a record $126 MILLION.

And the crazy part is that's less than HALF the asking price of $295 million.

A real estate developer started building it in Bel-Air almost a decade ago, and hoped to sell it for HALF-A-BILLION dollars. But then his company defaulted on $165 million in debt, so a bankruptcy court took it over.

It's still not clear who bought it. But with closing costs and commissions, they're actually paying $141 million. Here's what you get for that much money . . .

The mansion itself is 105,000 square feet on 3.8 acres of land overlooking Hollywood.

It's got 21 bedrooms . . . 42 bathrooms, plus seven half-baths . . . 50 indoor parking spaces . . . five pools . . . a movie theater . . . a bowling alley . . . a golf simulator room . . . a salon and spa . . . and a 10,000-square-foot sky deck.

The listing is still up on Zillow if you want to see pictures. With 20% down, the mortgage would be just under $600,000 a month, plus another 80 grand in property taxes a month.  (Here's a photo.)

A Realtor Went to the Wrong House . . . Got In . . . And Showed It to Prospective Buyers

The real estate market is so hot right now that realtors are apparently showing houses that aren't even on the market.

A woman on TikTok shared footage from her Ring camera, showing a real estate agent coming to her house when she wasn't home . . . walking around to the back door . . . going in . . . and opening the front door for a group of prospective buyers.

Her house is NOT on the market, and she had no idea who the realtor was. She was at work about 30 minutes away when she got the security alerts from her Ring cameras. She called the police and rushed home. By that point, the realtor had already spent 20 minutes leading a tour through all the rooms of her house.

The woman, the police, and the realtor all talked it out . . . and it sounds like no charges will be made against the realtor. He apologized for the mistake, and said there were a series of coincidences . . . like the owner of the house, he was SUPPOSED to show telling him to enter through the back door.

For what it's worth, the realtor also said that none of the buyers were interested in the woman's house.

(Here's the Ring camera footage, and there's more, here. The woman also posted this update and one more where she answered people's questions.)
