Marilyn Manson Sues Evan Rachel Wood For Defamation

As we've been following the Marilyn Manson - real name Brian Warner and Evan Rachel Wood drama, we have a new update. Manson has sued Wood for defamation. He's claiming that her sexual abuse allegations against him are a "malicious falsehood." Manson is asking for a jury trial. He is also saying it's inflicted emotional distress, that it violates the Comprehensive Computer Data and Access Fraud Act and impersonation via the internet.

The complaint was filed in LA Superior Court on Wednesday. In it, Manson claims that both Wood and "her on-again, off-again romantic partner" Ashley Gore "publicly cast" him as a "rapist and abuser - a malicious falsehood that has derailed Warner’s successful music, TV and film career.”

It also claims that the two pretended to be an FBI agent “by forging and distributing a fictitious letter from the agent, to create the false appearance that Warner’s alleged ‘victims’ and their families were in danger and that there was a federal criminal investigation of Warner ongoing.” The complaint further claims that Wood and Gore gave scrips to Manson accusers and "made knowingly false statements" like that he "filmed the sexual assault of a minor."
