Red Hot Chili Peppers are ready to drop new music.
The band just announced their new album, "Unlimited Love," with guitarist John Frusciante, which will drop on April 1st. It will be their first album with John since 2006.
“Our only goal is to get lost in the music. We spent thousands of hours, collectively and individually, honing our craft and showing up for one another, to make the best album we could,” they shared on Insta. “We yearn to shine a light in the world, to uplift, connect, and bring people together. Each of the songs on our new album 'Unlimited Love,' is a facet of us, reflecting our view of the universe."
They add, “This is our life’s mission. We work, focus, and prepare so that when the biggest wave comes, we are ready to ride it. The ocean has gifted us a mighty wave and this record is the ride that is the sum of our lives. Thank you for listening, we hope you enjoy it."

Metallica Readying Deluxe Versions of Load & Reload
Metallica is working on deluxe remastered versions of 1996's "Load" and 1997's "Reload" and they're asking fans for their input! In an email to members of the band's fan club, they wrote, "We're working our way through the catalog to bring you the comprehensive Deluxe Box Sets we've come to love. And now it's time to get started on 'Load' and 'ReLoad'!"
The band is specifically asking "for anything and everything you might have from August 1995 through September 1998: live photos (taken by you!) or snaps from a meet & greet, flyers, ticket stubs, backstage passes, and whatever other mementos you may have from that time." The email also says that "nothing is too small or trivial" to be shared.

All Time Low Filed a Lawsuit to Prove Sex Abuse Allegations Are False
ALL-TIME LOW filed a libel lawsuit yesterday against three anonymous people who claimed on social media that they were sexually abused by either the band or their guitarist JACK BARAKAT.
The nine-page complaint filed in L.A. County stated that the band has no choice but to, quote, "mobilize and utilize the civil court system to identify the culprits, prove that the defamatory statements are false, and seek justice . . .
"The purpose of the lawsuit is to establish the unambiguous truth and quash these malicious lies so that they won’t be repeated in the future."
All Time Low also said their reputation as a band and as individual members has been unfairly tarnished. They've lost business opportunities because of it and had to cancel scheduled events.
They said if they have a court victory, they will donate proceeds from the lawsuit to various charities that support sexual abuse victims.
