This Story Just Proves How Awesome Bob Saget Was

By now everybody knows what an amazing human being Bob Saget was. This story just drives that point home:

As you may have heard, Bob lost his sister to an autoimmune condition called Scleroderma back in 1994. Ever since then, he's been a fundraiser and advocate for the Scleroderma Research Foundation.

About two years ago, he found out about a 9-year-old girl named Sophie Anne who had it. He reached out to her and her family and stayed in touch with them until his death.

He sent Sophie Anne encouraging videos and even helped her sister with a school paper. The subject was "Bob Saget: My Everyday Hero".

A few months ago, he invited her parents to one of his shows in North Carolina. In addition to tickets, he paid for their meal and brought them backstage after the show.
